Brian Arnold
Brian has almost 40 years experience in the forest industry, 25 of which, were with Weldwood of Canada where he began his career. Starting as a Timber Cruiser, Brian worked in Quality Control, supervised log sorting operations, and spent the following eight years with Weldwood of Canada as a Log Trader for the Coast Logging Division. Moving to International Forest Products, Brian spent 2 years in the Log Supply Department.
Brian’s specialty lies in assessing value of both standing timber and processed logs, finding the right customer for those logs, and in the case of standing timber, the cost of getting it to market.
Bob Brash
Bob Brash has held the position of Vice-President of the Husby Group of Companies since 1997. He is involved in many facets of Forex Log & Lumber Ltd., including forest management and log marketing. After obtaining a Forest Technology Diploma and Registered Professional Forester certification, Bob spent 15 years working with British Columbia's Ministry of Forests; six years as District Manager. His vast experience with both coastal and interior forest management practices, coupled with a Masters Degree in Business from Queens University, provides Bob with the expertise required to play a vital role in the operation of Forex Log & Lumber Ltd.
